Used graphics card a good idea?

Second hand graphics cards can be awesome deals, I actually got my 1080 Ti FE second hand, it was 1 month used and this guy was closing down his 3d rendering studio, got it much cheaper than brand new, like around 580 dollars only, got here home and it performed like a charm!

 

You can get bad luck on it but if it does work out right it is the best.

I am looking to buy a graphics card for some light gaming(1060 or 1070)

Are used graphics cards from ebay a good idea? Even if its from a

seller that has a lot of good reviews?

if the seller has good reviews then you should get it. If you have the money, go for a new card like a 1060. If you want a 1070, look in the used market

I'd say it's probably fine. Just make sure you can return it if it has any problems.

Also don't buy something that's super cheap they might have used it to mine coins.

Make sure to quote or tag people, so they get notified.
