Posted October 23, 2017 Hi there just chasing tips on building an i7 8700k gaming build. I am not sure on the best motherboard for overclocking and gaming for the i7 8700k. I wish oc to 5gig. Im thinking of running a ssd and maybe a 2tb hybrid drive and either 16 or 32 gig ddr 4 ram with the aorus gtx 1080ti card I already have. I have a corsair 570x mid case and a h115i cooler on my current build which does have clearance issues with some mobos. Any advice on the best 8700k gaming build would be appreciated thanks guys. It is a good point though, the price difference is only what like $120 between the two? That's why I usually end up just getting the i7. Not enough price differentiation. The TUF motherboards have a way better warranty too. Posted October 24, 2017 Author Ill research the tuf boards thanks guys and yeah I'm power crazy and have an i7 7700k now that I want to gift to my son in a gtx1060 build ill give him for xmas.
