Speedfan won't control my fans

Hey guys,
I have gigabyte gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 and I have AKASA FLEXA molex (this) connected to system_fan 4 pin on my motherboard and into it I got connected 4 fans but I can't control my fan speeds in speedfan even if I choose correct bus in advanced options and set every pwm on manual. I can regulate my cpu fan there but not my other fans. Any ideas?

check JayzTwoCents YT video on SpeedFan (I am lazy to post the link from phone)

Have seen that. As I said even if I choose correct bus in advanced options and set everything on manual can't regulate my fans speed

Hmm, I will check it once I get home (if I won't forget) as I don't remember all the settings.

have you applied the checkmark at the mainscreen?

Do you mean you mean automatic fan speed? If so then yes

Are you sure the respective pinout has PWM? Not all 4pin connectors actually have PWM controllers attached to them

I know...it sucks.

Yes it does have pwm. Manual confirmed.

Really? I read from manual that only CPU header has PWM. Others don't. That wouldn't still matter as Speedfan can control 3pins as well. But it looks like there isn't controller chip for SYS_FAN2 and PWR_FAN. Not entirely sure thought, can you change their speeds manually from main screen?

All I can say is to try following along step by step with Jay and see if there's anything you may have missed.

In what manual did you read it? Mine cleary says that second pin is 12v/speed control and in matter of facts it it exactly same as a cpu fan.

There is not really much to miss, is it? I am pretty sure I did everything correctly.

Thats not PWM. Its just DC controlled. CPU fan is only PWM header on that board, PWM being 4th pin. DC fans can be controlled too, but with less accuracy.

1st System Fan Speed Control (SYS_FAN1 Connector)
Allows you to determine whether to enable the fan speed control function and adjust the fan speed.
Normal Allows the fan to run at different speeds according to the system temperature. You can adjust
the fan speed with EasyTune based on your system requirements. (Default)
Silent Allows the fan to run at slow speeds.
Manual Allows you to control the fan speed under the Slope PWM item.
Disabled Allows the fan to run at full speeds.

This is exact word from manual about sys_fan1 same thing is written for cpu_fan.

Yes, DC control. But as per your problem with Speedfan. From manual I get that only CPU and SYS_FAN1 have controller chips (as in you can control them and you see them in Speedfans main screen). Rest aren't controllable, but you can monitor their speeds. I've had Gigabyte board with 1 header without controller chip.

Yea you were right, I can't read apparently. This means I can't use that aleksa pwm thingy to control my fan which kinda sucks. Have to figure it out now. It is pretty loud with all fans full speed.

Use the CPU header, and run all the fans off CPU temp? Or use GPU temp to control the CPU header via Speedfan.

Only one socket on your splitter is fully populated with 4 pins. Are you sure you have a fan plugged into that socket?
