Asus P9D-X No Image

Hello,

 

a month or so ago I bought an Asus P9D-X Motherboard for my storage server. After installation of the CPU and RAM I tried to boot the system into the BIOS, without success. The motherboard does not output any image. I checked all switches on the motherboard with the manuel, they all seem to be set right. I installed all components on another motherboard, with success. I don't want to declare it dead before checking every other solution, since I don't have the money for a new one the next time.

 

Is there anything else I can test before I have to write it off?

 

Specs:

* Intel Celeron G1840

* Intel stock cooler

* 16GB G.Skill Ripjaw (don't know exactly which one, got them from a friend)
