Posted October 15, 2017 Hello! So lets just say I have a budget of 600 dollars to upgrade this pc. I am gaming on 1080p, so I do not think I need a 1080 or anything. Current specs: *i7- 6700k *GTX 960 mini 2GB *16 GB of 2400 mhz Ram (I have 2 more slots availavle) *2 Terabytes of HDD *120 GB of SSD *Windows 10 *A liquid AIO cooler thats similar to the h50i *Phantom 240 case from NZXT *500W not name brand psu Right now I am thinking of getting a 1070 SC, an EVGA 600B1, and maybe another 8 gigs of ram, 2x4gb. Granted, 16 GB is enough, but I think if I ever sell it it would be good to see 24 gigs of ram instead of 16. Also, should I wait for the 1070ti? Again, I am gaming on 1080p. So I think that a 1060 would do if need be. Posted October 15, 2017 I would go for a 1070 and new PSU, like you mentioned Don't worry about the extra RAM unless you need it for something. Posted October 15, 2017 For just 1080p 60FPS, a 1060 6GB is enough. The 1070 or 1070 Ti would be significantly more powerful, though.
