Truly survival games (No PvE)

Does anyone of you guys knows some games that does not involve fighting enemies or some danger? Just purely survival aspects like heat, cold, hunger etc. I'm curious about that. It might be a fun game like a lost in woods simulator. If you consider it, in a real life there's a small chance to actually need to defend yourself against mighty badgers or blood seeking squirrels.

Kill only for skins or animal stuff to craft god knows what.

That's the point. They are scary as shit. I used to play Outlast but I can't scream now because my cat's will awake and I can't handle their look.

Stardew Valley

Already finished firewatch, but I wouldn't call it a survival game. More like a interactive story. With Stardew Valley I did kinda enjoyed that but got bored quite fast.

Long dark, with those wolfs? I'd die in 30 sec. Stranded Deep has sharks, Rust has other players. Still no :D

UnReal World Survival based roguelike game

In this game you are literally lost in the woods.

In one scenario you start in the forest, forage food, make traps or hunt wildlife, build shelter, stockpile food for winter, craft tools and clothes... just survive.

You can disable the cannibals in The Forest and turn it into a survival game, but its not really meant to be that so will be a bit lackluster.

Subnautica. There are some big fish that can hurt you, but they are easy to avoid.

Although, your no PvE requirement is a bit confusing. PvE stands for Player vs Environment.

Best Excuses:

#1(simple) "Well, I never liked that stupid thing anyway!"

#2(complex) "Obviously there was a flaw in the material, probably due to the inadvertent introduction of contaminants during the manufacturing process."

The Forest, it is a game where you are stranded in a forest/island after a plane crashed, you need to hunt for items and animals to survive, make fires to keep warm and build a house, fortress or whatever your imagination allows you to.It has single player and co-op.
