Which one gives better FPS in LoL: RX 580 vs GTX 1060?

pajpaj

I found both of them, priced the same.

Which is one is better?

I will be using this for streaming League of Legends. I know both of these will do "fine" but I want to know which one gives better fps. Thanks.

Planning to use R5 1600.

Then it really doesn't matter that much as you will be limited by the CPU in the very high FPS range (at around 150-160FPS). I would get the RX 580 because it is only $245 and has much higher resale value due to miners buying them even at $350+ prices.

I mean with my intel HD4600 I ran league on medium settings @120fps stable....those cards would hit 250-300+(if the cpu could handle it as well) on max settings easily I guess so if you might want a freesync/gsync monitor in near future I'd chose by this or just get the one with better cooling

Doesnt matter, both deliver so much fps in LoL, that you WILL Be CPU bottlenecked prettyy much.

You don't need more fps, than your Monitor has Hz anyway ^^" Since anything above that is completely wasted.

And LoL doesn't scale THAAAT much with high Hz/fps, as other games, like CS :GO.

So yea... irrelevant question, beause neither your CPU, nor your GPU will have any trouble running this potato game xD
