Yep! Definitely is a fallback, but would prefer a full case solution for ease of transport/aesthetics. Definitely would be the easy button!

i removed the RGB connections (for the fans) and the fan headers (for the fans) the fans i connected to CPU fan on the motherboard (makes more sense IMO) and the RGB i connected to my RGB hub i already had, so i can control them from a single place, as well as get the effects to sync across all 5 of my LL fans

Because of the crash of GPU mining GPU miner chassis have become cheap. There's a couple on newegg.

 

I have my eye on this one. I want to build a GPU BOINC/Folding rig and I think this would be perfect. Don't know if it'll fit the SR-2 though.

seemingly, the biggest it supports is ATX, a fair shout off of the HTPX of the SR-2

Yeah. It'll work for my own planned setup. EPYC CPU and at least 128GB of DDR4 then 8 GPUs.

I know there are more open benches where the motherboard doesn't mount to anything but at the end of the day you could always build your own.

For AIOs the fan curve should be based off the coolant (need to keep it under 60C according to NZXT).

Maybe. Per stick the cost has come down exponentially. About $1,360 -> $300.

What are some ballpark numbers for a 7700K? Have a friend(who doesn't keep super up on things) looking to overclock his chip now that he has a fancy 280mm AIO.

scores or like clocks? IIRC most 7700Ks can do 4.8-5.0 with safe voltages (up to 1.4v if you keep it cool).

Haven't the foggiest. I don't know where it is for any other platforms either, I think for most Intel HEDT it's at around 4.5 or higher?
