Direction of a CPU Cooler

Tempsest_xD

I'm planning a build and the Cryorig H5 Ultimate cooler I have picked out will interfere with my RAM; so can I point it in a different direction, and if so what's the best way to have it pointing?

My Build:  https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mwCjd6

Thanks!

just put the fan on the other side and have it pull air into the heatsink rather than push air into the heatsink.

Not Kaby Lake. Wait for Coffee

No need for fast memory on Kaby Lake (dont know Coffee Lake on RAM)

CSM PSU isnt that great of a deal with mediocre performance.

Nah, intel is using the same foundation for their cpus, ram speed will make little difference with coffee lake. The reason it matters with ryzen is their implementation sets some cpu functions to the speed the ram is running, I forget specifics, but anyway coffee lake is gonna scale very similarly to kaby lake or skylake.

OP depending on what you're doing AMD might be a better choice to build with, or waiting for coffee lake is also a good option since it's supposed to be released in a couple days or something like that

In the pic it blocks 1st slot with fan. I imagine fan can be raised if case has room for it. But Dom Plats are very high profile sticks.

Most likely

Additioanlly he's only got 2 sticks of ram, so Dimm1 wouldnt be used unless he expands his memory.... Which I just noticed he's spending $115 for 8gb of ram.......

I would suggest getting lower profile ram in the first place and it would probably save you a few bucks.
