Limiting wifi bandwith

So i have a pirelli router and im trying to figure out how to limit the speed ppl can download with through wifi , the only thing i found so far is how to restrict different type of formats under the firewall section , http email send etc etc but nothing about bandwith limit , is there like a program i could download that would do the joib ?

You could flash it with DD-WRT and (ab)use the QOS feature there.

If your router supports it, you can flash it with a custom firmware (DD-WRT is well known) and then you'd have access to a lot more advanced settings.

plus it says the router is not supported

qos is nice for making sure everyone gets a share of bandwidth but it introduces a ton of lag.

Then replace it with a router that is supported. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but a quick Google search for "pirelli router" results in many articles about a security vulnerability that may or may not be present in your model. Because of this, I'd definitely want to throw it in the trash if it cannot run AdvancedTomato or DD-WRT and replace it with something that can. If you link me to an online website where you can purchase routers in your country, I'll recommend a model that can run this firmware, or one that at least has QoS functions built in.
