I'm assuming you're running integrated GMA graphics which in that day make the Intel HD line seem quite competitive (relatively speaking).

There is a fast paced shooter called Red Eclipse. Runs well on my Intel Atom system. Might give that a shot?

I'd try Counter Strike Source on low settings. If it seems to run well then go up to medium settings. CSS still has a very big population but not as dated as cs 1.6. You might be able to get away with Team Fortress 2.

Try any FPS probably 2004 or older but beyond that you'll quickly want to upgrade to a more powerful rig and especially want to move away from a laptop for gaming.
