I am building a Ryzen gaming system and I wonder which one is the best Micro ATX mobo out there at the moment? ideally it would have WiFi and bluetooth

well I don't really see options for wifi/bluetooth included right now, still looking. If you only plan on one gpu real easy to add in a card, and I'd recommend that and focus on getting a good motherboard. 

On boards that have wifi, itx ones in my experience use what basically is a laptop card in a mini-pcie slot I think. You can simply replace the card with a laptop wifi card with bluetooth if it's not the card you want. Those can be had cheaply on ebay, pulled form laptops used obv. I assume if you find one in micro atx that case would be similar.

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

ok oddly I found a couple with wifi cards ITX and ATX even one in EATX but not in mATX

Yea I found that weird too, I have a MiniITX with wifi and bluetooth, but I wonder if it would look too weird in a Micro ATX case

I hate to suggest this, since getting the best options is always right, maybe look for a wifi card with a black PCB with good enough reviews. Even if it doesn't have Bluetooth, you can get a good use dongle for less than 20$. I have this one

The  B350M TUF isn't available in Canada, lol. NCIX is the only place that sells them and they're in back order.

yah in that case go for solid power delivery. I don't know what the VRM situation with AM4 is, but with AM3+ boards, especially mATX, it was a nightmare. 

I remember for AM3+ there were compilation threads on overclock.net listing each board and what kind of CPU you should be safe putting in there and what kind of overclocking yo u should do, idk if there's anything for AM4 yet or if that's even a problem anymore.

The deal breaker for now is the fact that I cant find a proper mobo for this build lol. The ASrck ab350m doesn't have great reviews.

I notice motherboards often just tend to have bad reviews, and may have higher rates of failure, or it could be partly people not know what they are doing/blaming motherboard for other failures like a psu. The motherboard I have for my x99 build has a 3 on newegg and 3.5 on amazon. Not a problem yet. 

 

Also worth noting, amazon does this shady thing where they group completely different products as 'styles' and combine the reviews. I've seen mouse pads with nearly all 5 stars get a mouse added that's shit but people think tit's good cause hey, hundreds of reviews and 4.5 stars.

 

I think what you need to pay attention to is reviews on it from youtube and news publications, reviews from forum users on sites like OCN. Stuff like VRMs being important. As for failure, buy from a place you feel confident will do you right in case of problems. I had SO much luck with amazon returning stuff in the 30 day window. No questions asked, ever, and they pay return shipping, though it may have to do with how much crap I've bought from my account. So that'll cover a DOA at least. I know they offer extended warranties too, so idk what that's like, but I'm pretty sure those are your standard 3rd party and take effect after manufacture's warranty, and you won't deal with amazon if it dies. So on that note, look for brand where people have good experiences getting an RMA. For example, fuck ASUS. Great products, shit customer service. 

Motherboards are redesigned often and these are the first AM4 motherboards, so there may be higher failure rates than with other components. The important thing is to shop for a motherboard as if it will fail and you will have to return it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch
