Apple IOS 11 now available!

So... to all of those who don't already know IOS 11 is in its beta stages, and on its way for release in the fall.  Many new features are coming to IOS.  Some of which are stated below.

 

New features:

4 option variable flashlight brightness

New control center layout

New customization control center

Screen recorder (finally!)

The new "Files" app

New disabled notifications while driving (good for the teens)

New live photo effects (like Instagram with their "Boomerang")

New and improved SIRI commands (including:  "play something I like", "close (app)")

New look to the passcode when opening the phone

New look to close an apple

New look to control center

New look of easy access bar on IPads

New "Dock" for IPad multitasking

New "Drag and Drop" to IPads (Allows you to move text, photos, etc across apps)

More powerful use of Apple Pencil

New document scanner in Notes

New "QuickType" keyboard

New "ARKit" framework (see below)

 

The new ARKit framework allows developers to build "...unparalleled AR experiences. By blending digital objects and information with the environment around you, augmented reality takes apps beyond the screen, freeing them to interact with the real world".  This new framework baseically says that Apps now know everything you do and now can interact with you.  Which is pretty dang scary.  Anyway...

 

Apple IOS 11 comes out this fall!  It should definitely change the iPhone, iPad and all of Apple.  More information is available at apple.com/ios/ios-11-preview

Phone cant handle it at all but may get a iphone 6s but not too sure

Finally a files app. It also seems like they are making iOS more customizable, The only reason I stick with Android as of now is the lack of being able to customize the device as much as you can on android. For example: Custom Google Voice Commands, Running Light VM's on the device such as linux, and custom launchers.

I'm already running the beta, and it's not too bad. It's definitely come a long way from when it first launched in developer beta a long time ago (trust me, that was total crap).

True be that... I personally have a 6s plus and hope that it will handle the new software.

 

According to Apple the new IOS 11 will be available on eariler versions of the iPhone like the 5s.  But, I'm not sure about the 5 or 5c.

Afaik the 5 and 5c have been dropped. The 6 runs iOS 11 pretty well, for a beta. I’m using it right now.

Just updated it. On my SE sometimes the animations still a bit funky. 

Other than that, vpn app has some sort of malfunction. 

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

For all of those that already installed IOS 11... Be very careful in downloading profiles for apps.  Some of these profiles will install apps that you do not want (malware).  Be careful before you install a profile.
