How to use IMac as a render farm

Hi everyone,

I am planning on using my IMac pro (from 2008) as a render farm. I want to use it because it has 2 quad core xeon's in it. I mostly edit/grade my files in Davinci Resolve 14. I was wondering what the best way is to get files to my render Mac. I don't know if I'm gonna use mac or pc to edit. (I can't use the Imac pro as edit computer because it only has 16GB ddr2 ram and a bad gpu...)  

I have 2 questions:

- What is the easiest way to send/get files from IMac to IMac?

- What is the easiest way to send/get files from PC to IMac?

BTW: I was wondering if it is possible to move my components from my IMac Pro to the corsair carbide 600Q. Can someone tell me what I need? (I am not sure if it will fit because its a dual socket motherboard)

What software does the Mac have? I assume it's a Mac Pro.

da vinci allows you to set a render target.
