Have fun being an adult.

It's great so far!

Seriously, your in high school now heading into college and into adult hood. It would be embarrassing to do something stupid, where your parent needs to punish you. Start being mature for Christ sake!

It's generally accepted that the rational thinking part of human brains don't fully develop until the age of 25. So it's unreasonable to expect a teenager to start acting mature unless they were forced to do so early.

Also it doesn't help that adults don't teach teens how to adult.

Some kids do act mature and yet some adults still act immature.

So does buying fun-dip and eating the powder with my finger, before eating the stick, make me immature?

What does food have anything to do with immaturity? Some people lick their fingers and smack their lips after eating that full bucket of KFC. There is no such thing as food you can't enjoy after reaching a certain age.

It was an awful joke, most people would find that, a grown man licking his finger and sticking it into candy powder and inherently dying his finger, as being immature. As far KFC is concerned, you don't want to see what I do to a bucket when I'm by myself lol.

Nothing really. An amazing combination of me being a motivated student, my parents being really cool, and me not doing anything too stupid means we pretty much always get along

My mom always punished me with the silent treatment, never anything else. Being an only child, this punishment worked very well.

I was wondering, what was the worst punishment you parents gave you in highschool and what you did.

They beat the hell out of me on good days, so did everyone else. I don't really want to talk about what was done to me on the bad days. I got the hell out once I had enough money to do so.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.
