Do you leave your rigs on?

So I'm just wondering, do you guys leave your PC's running in sleep mode or hybernate while your not using it or turn it off? 

 

Also, I've been testing the loop for 48 hours, all good so far but I have to mve the lower oart of the loop every time I drain it a little, is that going to cause a leak at some point?

I'm sure this question gets asked once a week hahaha.

 

I leave mine on if I know I'm going to be using it within the next 8-12 hours. If not, power off.

On or off, never hyb or sleep.

 

If I'm away for more than 4 hours, I turn it off. If I don't I leave it on since idle is pretty much costless.

from pressing the start button to being on the desktop takes like 13 seconds so i alwas turn it off when i dont use it for more than 10 minutes

Sleep if I think I'm going to use it again with 24 hours. Off if not. I would hibernate, but don't have enough space on my ssd for the dump of my RAM...

Realistically it takes my computer about 15 seconds to fully boot up. Maybe if I was doing something mission critical with parts that were made to be on 24/7 then absolutely. In your case and my case since I'm sure we don't do things like that.... Then no.

I keep mine running 24/7, so I haven't turned off my system with my loop running, unless I know I'm gonna be gone for a long time.

Since my PC boots in 10 or so seconds, and I don't have any critical services running on it, I have no reason not to turn it off when not in use.

24/7 on all the time for both of my computers.  Only time they go off is for cleaning or a power outage.

I have a low power Linux server that's on 24/7 with some media files on it. 

 

The PC with the custom loop just gets turned on and off whenever I need to use it, as others have said it boots in seconds so I don't see much point leaving it on and risking a leak when I'm not around.

I have an ssd so i just turn it off unless i need to backup stuff when i'm not home. In those cases i just set it to sleep after a couple hours.

Make sure to quote or tag people, so they get notified.
