Posted December 1, 2013 I just bought a new 1 terabyte hard drive and in windows it only shows up as 76.4gb. Does anyone know how to fix this? Posted December 1, 2013 Go into your Disk Management and format the drive completely. Then create a new partition using all the available unallocated space. Posted December 1, 2013 Author im doing the disk management thing now but I bought the same hard drive on black friday from a tigerdirect.com retail store then it showed up as 76.4gb so i returned it and got a different one and now its doing the same thing so i dont think its the hard drive, just a problem in windows.
