Currently still rockin' a Canon T1i running MagicLantern because stock firmware is SOOOO lacking in features. I've got the 18-55 kit lens, along with the nifty fifty plastic fantastic 50mm F1.8 and a 55-250mm IS lens. (not the new USM version, but that's fine as I don't shoot video.)

 

I've also got a bunch of other cameras because I have an addiction to them. Got 2x Canon SX260 cameras, a Panasonic DMC-TS20D for outdoor adventures and kayaking, an iPhone 5C used exclusively as a camera and Spotify device, and an old Canon AE1 with a few lenses that hasn't been powered up or used in a long time.

 

Mostly shoot landscapes and the occasional wildlife shot, plus lots of events like car shows. I'm trying to get more into shooting people but no one really wants to volunteer for some reason.

I'm a full time photographer and videographer so have a good few cameras / lenses and equipment. For years I had one entry level body and a 50mm lens and that worked great. As time went on my kit grew as my style and needs developed. I still do just use simple equipment. I worked doing events including music festivals, gigs and tours with bands and artists. I now do more corporate work and promo reels with wildlife on the side, but have shot pretty much everything you can imagine (aside from hanging out of a helicopter... one day!)

I have nearly two dozen lenses and don't feel like listing them all.  Mostly Nikon with a mix of Canon, Sigma, Fuji, Sony, Xeen mixed in.  Nikon to Sony Metabones Speedbooster for mounting my Nikon lenses on Sony bodies.

 

I have a ton of mics and various field audio recorders and mixers.  I have both mechanical and motorized gimbals/stabilizers.  A small collection of various types of lights and light modifiers...

I've got a Zenit-e with the Helios 44-2 lens, Canon AE-1, and Pentax KM; and usually shoot on Kodak Gold 200 (expired, of course).

for digital/video, I use a Panasonic G7 with a Sennheiser MKE400 and adapted Canon FD lenses (from the AE-1), and it's fantastic

It’s a good camera but I don’t really like the form factor, not easy to shoulder mount without a rig.  But in other ways of mounting it’s a fine camera.

I am currently a hobbyist, and have no aspiration of turning pro for the time being, but have worked in the past as an events photographer, concerts and done commercial indoor shoots etc. I mostly take landscape and cityscape shots now whenever I can or when I travel. Also do a lot of general shoots for charity or if a friend needs a portrait that sort of stuff.

Haven't shot the EOS 1000 in a while, but it is the first proper camera I ever used 13 years ago. 

 

The fuji system I recently got into, and I enjoy using it a lot, the results are satisfactory and it is waaay easier to carry around, especially when travelling, much less expensive than the Canon etc. BUT, everytime I take a picture with the Canon, I come to the realisation that the additional weight, size and general inconvenience are overall worth it. I do believe it partly has to do with my own acquired ease with the Canon ecosystem, but at the end of the day, I look at the image on the computer and can't help but feel the Canon is worth it.

EDIT: There's also a 3LT Albert tripod (I take everywhere), not visible in the frame and an assortment of Landscape filters, flash diffusers etc. I usually store in bags so they aren't just lying around.
