Acer predator Z35 35" curved full HD monitor. It has a resolution of 2560x1080 with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also has a 4ms response time. Or there is an upgraded version of this monitor which is the Acer predator Z35P 35" curved monitor with a resolution of 3440x1440p. It also has the same 4ms response time and its a QHD display.

What price point are you trying to aim? Also, does resolution matter to you?

I wouldnt want to go bigger then 27 inch to be hones. I had a 27 inch mac and that was a bit overkill. So anywhere between 24 to 27 inches.

When it comes to the price range I can spend about 500 dollars. However I wouldnt want to spend that much unless it has everything I am looking for. Such as : Amazing colors and fast refresh rate. Also is g-sync worth it ?

But I remind you that I am a noob when it comes to this so please point me in the right direction

Unfortunately I can help you only in the color department. :D

If you want a monitor with really good color accuracy then I recommend Dell's UltraSharp Series. Those are really good with color. I use Dell's S2415H, it's 1920x1200 and I love the extra 120 pixels of vertical height. The downside to this is that it can only do 60Hz. I'm not very familiar with Dell's UltraSharp series in last couple of years, maybe they have made a display with fast refresh rate, look it up. ;)

But yea, Dell's are one the best in the business when in comes to color at reasonable price points.
