Looking for headset

Hi, i was looking at picking up some new headphones like the logitech g330s but they are discontinued  i was hoping for some suggestions on a decent headset that doesn't mess up my hair  currently rocking Kingston hyper x clouds

all suggestions would be greatly appreciated

all headsets have the headband that rests on the top of your head.

The g330 is not a good headset, you're better off with the cloud 2s or with a headphone + mic combo. What's your budget?

prob around 200 cad, just looking for that style of headset really but i'm interested in your headphone mic combo

For gaming cloud 2s will suit you just fine but you can get some amazing headphones that not only sound great but also have an amazing sound stage. For 200 CAD you'll be looking at open-back headphones, that you you'll get the best sound stage which will help you better distinguish movement of enemies or explosions.There are a lot of options, if you're only going to be gaming then I would suggest you get the AD700X or spend a little more and get the AD900X both have excellent sound stages and are what pros use for competitive gaming. However you do lose bass with open-back headphones (Bass isn't as deep as closed-back headphones). As for the mic you can go with any good mic like a blue yeti or audio technica at2020 but if you want to go for a good yet cheap mic then I recommend the zalman zm-mic 1, but whatever you do don't get the mod mic - it's overpriced.

How about this, a pair of IEMs and a desk mic or a pair of IEMs with a mic?  

 

I mean the mic on my Sennhieser M30G are about the same in quality as my cloud 2s so...that must mean something right?

Yea it looks like the logitech g330 format has died out  tons of searching and no quality headphones in that form factor so i think i will go with some earbuds and maybe a desk mic
