Either way, I use them for gaming and like them, though I'm not very good and mostly play BF4.

Very comfortable.

My understanding is that if you're playing competitively you want really accurate聽imaging and big soundstage聽- which these don't really have. But if you're looking to enjoy the sounds of the game you're playing then I'm sure these will work great.
