Hey,

Would any of you share your personal experiences with the Corsair Carbide 270R? I'm planning to buy one, as it seems to be great for upgradability, which is very appealing to me. I also like how minimalistic it looks, and apparently it's got decent airflow too, so that's a nice bonus. I do have £70 to buy a case, but I'm banking on not having to spend all of it.

If you like right-side I/O (not fun IMO) then sure, it's an alright case but Fractal Design has better cases for the same price as does NZXT.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I currently have bottom I/O so it would be a nice change to have it on the right side. Could you name some of the Fractal cases? I know which ones NZXT have

The 270R is pretty decent, the windowed version is meh, but the windowless version has some sound proofing if I recall correctly.

There are better cases out there, there are worse ones too. Just depends on what you value the most.

Well...

 

My birthday's coming up and I'm getting more money. But I'm pretty sure my parents wouldn't let me spend more than £70. If they do, I'll have a look at the Meshify C

Meshify C is a fantastic case (a little late to the tempered glass party but still) the airflow is almost second to none from first impressions. The only downside to this over traditional Define series cases is it come with no sound dampening foam, which sorta makes sense
