I doubt it but even if they drop, don't expect that you will be able to get the 1600 for $150 ;)

I mean if they do announce pricing on the 21st maybe. Just wait until the 21 and see what happens.

No indication it will lower the price, AMD put the current price points to compete at their best I believe.
Going much lower will eat away from the bottom line.

not in europe and the rest of the world. In US both intel and AMD CPUs have been much cheaper. It takes years for anything to drop in price in europe.

Considering Intel's pricing, they will be more expensive than Ryzen, so no. AMD doesn't need to drop prices because they are already the best value.

For sure yes once Intel comes out with Coffee lake 6 cores at I5 prices something they should have done years ago to avoid Amd from doing it.

Intel set themselves up for Ryzen if they would have had 6 core kabylake CPU's it would have been much harder for Amd to market Ryzen.

I doubt. Intel prices are off now given the new competition, but I expect them to release Coffee Lake at prices such that they make sense at current Ryzen prices. In other words, I expect Coffee Lake to be better value than Kaby Lake at launch, and reasonable value compared to Ryzen at current prices (give or take a mild Intel tax performance premium).
