Vega/1070 for 1080p?

ChackoM

I'm planning to play most AAA titles, but I'm kind of in love with this monitor : https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2bL7YJ/lenovo-li2364d-230-71hz-monitor-65c8kcc1us

However, I also really would like a Vega 56 or 1070 with it, but I'm wondering, is it overkill? Probably not going to upgrade it a couple of years, and I'm open to all suggestions :)

RX Vega is rumored to be better than a 1070 so it definitely can do 4k gaming

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

My Build: Xeon 2630L V, RX 560 2gb, 8gb ddr4 1866, EVGA 450BV

Apparenty, there's been a benchmark leak http://www.tweaktown.com/news/58635/amd-radeon-rx-vega-56-leaked-benchmarks-gtx-1070-killer/index.html, and given the results, I'd say vega, especially with the 1070's price up due to mining

Gaming rig : i5 6600k | EVGA 1070 FTW | 16Go DDR4 HyperX Fury | Intel 600p - WD Black

Laptop : Macbook 2017

Home server : AMD A10 7700k | 2*2TB unraid array + 250GB ssd cache

some say it's the best value 1440p IPS display,

but you have to be wary that the stand is a little wobbly and there is no VESA mount

also  might need slight setting adjustments in OSD for color calibration - the factory default isn't always the best

Here's a random unboxing

CPU: Intel i7 5820K @ 4.20 GHz | MotherboardMSI X99S SLI PLUS | RAM: Corsair LPX 16GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz | GPU: Sapphire R9 Fury (x2 CrossFire)

Thanks! So, if I get this monitor, it would be perfect for Vega 56 right?

Awesome! Also, is it all right if it isn't freesync? The 1080p monitor was, and I'm wondering whether it makes a big difference.

Also --> I think I just fell in love with this monitor: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Fz4NnQ/lenovo-l24q-238-2560x1440-60hz-monitor-65d2gcc3us

pcpartpicker lists it as non-IPS display,

Lenovo have on their product page same model with a different part number which is IPS:

http://www3.lenovo.com/au/en/accessories/monitors/home/L24q-10-23-8'-QHD-MonitorHDMI%2BDP/p/65CFGAC3AU

Just find out if the one you will be receiving after purchase is IPS, if it's not I'd rather take the Acer one

Got it. Also last question, sorry for asking so much: Which monitor do you think I should choose: the Lenovo one or https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ZBZ2FT/aoc-monitor-g2460pf
