Need serious opinions and facts thanks

Hello, I am planing a new build I am really unsure about getting a new case or if I should make it cheaper and stay with my old one.

Current pc:

i5 4670k

gtx 1060 6gb

8gb 1600mhz vengeance ram ddr3

Cheap 120$ gigabyte motherboard

cx 650 watt 80+ bronze

CASE: corsair carbide 200r 80$

this case is good and all, lots of fan places but should I really run 1070 sli in a old case that dust gets in to easily?

New build:

GPU: Nvidia gtx 1070 8gb SLI

CPU: i7 7700k

PSU: Corsair RM750x 750watt 80+ gold

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz 16gb ddr4

MOBO: Aorus by Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Gaming K5( IMPORTANT NOTE: I'm kinda insecure about this mobo, will it really support SLI and run 2x 1070s perfectly?)

CASE: Cooler Master Storm Stryker - White 210$

really insecure, do I need this? Is it wasted money?

THANK YOU, if you read through it all I am greatfull. Thanks.

Also, SLI isn't well supported in a lot of games and many people have come across driver issues with an sli setup so I thing a gtx 1080 or 1080 ti would work better for you.

If you have spare money, then you can get a new case. I wouldnt, though. Also, dont go 1070 SLI. Either get a single 1080ti or wait till Vega gets widely available so you can get 1070s at lower price.

@zindan If I were you I'd just go with a 1080Ti if  you can afford it instead of an sli.

As for the case you could consider something like the s340 from Nzxt maybe the s340 Elite if you want tempered glass sidepanel.

Make sure to quote or tag people, so they get notified.

Keep your i7, that motherboard can support SLI, though games may not well so would be better to get a single 1080ti.

No I really don't care about glass sides ad stuff like that I only want a low temperature case. You are probably right, I should stick to my old case I mean it is working fine just 5 years old but still.

As an aside, I wouldn't waste $210 on a case that's already a few years old. The design is definitely dated, and case materials have gotten better for that price class in the last few years. But that's ultimately up to you, since cases are a more personal choice.

The thing about 1080ti thou is that the price differences in countries are huge! Here in Sweden they cost 1,000$ or more whilst the stock one on nvidia.com cost 699$ should I order one? (Currently out of stock) why are the prices so different?

Since that SLI isnt supported very well because of driver issues, I would recommend going with a single gtx 1080ti. I would also pickup an aftermarket cooler such as an AIO liquid cooler since the stock intel one wont be able to hold up if your going to be overclocking.

Oo, kinda nooby at this umm not so sure about overclocking :D a water cooled gpu? How about that :P what would price for such a cooler be?

The Corsair H110 V2 is a good AIO liquid cooler that costs around $120 that will allow more overclocking while keeping the temperatures of you cpu low. As far as a watercooled GPU goes, if your going to be heavily overclocking your GPU than a watercooled GPU would be ideal, but if you are going to be overclocking it lightly, than a passively cooled GPU will best suit your needs.

I would keep the current system. You might consider replacing the gpu with a GTX 1080 Ti or a Vega gpu, should they prove to be better value. (Vega gpu are due out in a couple of weeks.) If you don't already have an ssd, get a decent size model. At least 240GB. The psu is fine for now.

Keep the case. If dust is a real problem, there are aftermarket filters available from several sources. https://www.demcifilter.com/Corsair-Carbide-200R-Dust-Filter-Kit is one such.

Your current setup is more than capable for all of this. Although if not already present, a good ssd will improve programming performance.

If the lower cost card has to be shipped from another country you have to take into account the cost of shipping, insurance, and any taxes and duties applicable in your country.

Until a new version of elder scrolls is actually released there is little point in upgrading the cpu or gpu.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
