With a $25 cooler I would only expect a 7600k to get to around 4.6 or 4.7 ghz. Plus even when OCed I'd rate the 1700 above a 7600k.

Yes, a 7600k has higher averages but the 1700 has much better minimums, which are more important imo since it indicates a more smooth and consistent experience.

i agree. Think about it this way, the 7600k could go higher but dips down too much

True not sure how much im going to stream/ render seeing i havent ever done much like that but i thought it would be good it also is going to be good for the future. Vega is not going well correct but if it can offer 1080 performance for less i will most defiantly go with it. The reason I compared the two is price the 7600K in Canada is 379.99 while the R7 1700 is 349.99 when on a 20% off sale which is when i would buy it. The 7700K on the other hand is 529.99 so I thought it would be a better comparison. I do plan to custom water cool but i might just go with a AIO it offers a little worse performance and dosent look as cool but it gets the job done. Ryzen apparently dosent overclock the best 4.0 is normal while you can get the 7600K to around 5.0 while so time and tweaking.

ryzen RGB stock cooler FTW! You don't have to spend incredible amounts of money on water cooling to make your setup look slick.

I don't know why anyone would live in Canada, prices there are insane. $530 for a 7700K?? Those are like $300 here in the states.

I've seen the 7700k's even as low as 239$

I'd go with Ryzen, for sure. It's just a lot more powerful, plus AM4 is supposedly going to be used for a few years at least, so you'll have a much broader upgrade path later on.

We don't pay astronomical prices for healthcare, have lower crime rates, etc.

Haha not my choice I am 13. Anyway we do make more money here minimum wage is a lot higher in Canada and our dollar is very low atm so normally we would be paying maybe 20 dollars more for something where now its way more!

Not always. Seattle has a minimum wage of $15/hr. Factor in the exchange rate and that's a whole hell of a lot more than what Canada offers. I wouldn't hold your breath for a better Canadian dollar. $0.75 to the USD is likely where it'll be for many, many years.

Who cares if you don't have to pay for healthcare? Your currency is worth so little that you would be better off in the U.S. paying for healthcare becasue on the same salary you would still probably have more money in the U.S. Also your crime rate is lower becasue you have 10 times less people.

Crime rate is crime per capita not overall...

Except Canadian salaries probably are the same as US salaries if you compare in number of Canadian dollars to number of US dollars.

It doesn't really work like that, for both your points.

  • In the US you have to pay for healthcare, sometimes many hundreds of dollars a month. It's not like that here. Want to have a baby? I think it's something like $10,000 in the US. Here, it's free. That's just one example. Drug costs are another. There are some nice things about the US, but I still wouldn't trade it for knowing that I can be injured for no fault of my own and not go bankrupt as a result.
  • Crime rate is per-capita. If you'd like to break it down to simpler numbers, in 2016 you were 51 times more gun related murders in the US than Canada. That's just firearms. 16 times the number of rapes (per million people). You can only imagine how the other crimes stacked up. Even with 10x fewer people, that number is ridiculous. As a general overall view, you're 2.5x more likely to be involved in a violent crime.

No one actually pays that much for hospital bills, that is all covered by insurance. Hopefully healthcare will become even cheaper once Obamacare goes out, because right now it is way too expensive. Obviously there are more gun crimes in the U.S. because we are allowed to have guns. As we have seen time and time again in countries where people are not allowed to have guns their rates of things like stabbings are far higher than the U.S.

Not everyone can afford insurance, and some things shouldn't need insurance to be covered. That's the whole point.

You can have guns in Canada too.
