Not everyone can afford insurance, and some things shouldn't need insurance to be covered. That's the whole point.

You can have guns in Canada too.

And here I am paying next to nothing ;)

We have less restrictions on guns though.

The only reason that healthcare is ridiculous is because of Obama Care. Before that it was reasonable. And like I said before at least my money is actually worth something so even though I pay for healthcare I can still afford to buy other things at a much lower price. Like an $800,000 house in Canada is like a $300,000 house in the U.S.

Obamacare is far more expensive than what it was before. I pay thousands more for healthcare a year than I did before. And what do you mean "wat"

As in, the new bill.

That's not entirely true, that's totally location dependent. You can find cheap areas in both countries, you can find expensive areas in both countries. There's no way to juxtapose the two, because they'll never be in the same place.

Yes you can compare the two. If you took 2 very similar homes in very similar cities over very similar sizes with similar economies, the house in Canada would cost almost double.

And yes is was expensive before, but Obamacare has made it insanely expensive. Hoping Trump will come through with a better plan.

Have you not looked into Trumps healthcare plan at all? Even I know it's shit, and I have absolutely nothing invested in it's success or failure. Then again, I find the way Trump is driving the US into the ground on some fronts rather comical.

Economies matter not. Property is always about location, location, location. Even if say Salt Lake City and Vancouver had similar economies, few offer what Van does geographically. The same is true for every other city.

Anyway, I'm not debating this anymore, it has nothing to do with either CPU.

Uhm how would cities be similar? In what way?

House prices in Vancouver and maybe Toronto is expensive, but everywhere else like Alberta it isn't that high.

Even inside Toronto (GTA) there are different house prices. Mississauga has lower price compared to Downtown Toronto for example.

I personally would prefer more restrictions. Who the hell needs assault rifles? Terrorists, that's what. If you're hunting, who the hell goes and grabs an ak47 to shoot a deer? No one, that's who. You may argue that you need assault rifles to protect yourself, but really that's to protect yourself against OTHER people with assault rifles, so really there's no point in having assault rifles available to any body.

I personally don't use or plan on owning a gun, but I understand that some people do want them. I don't, however, understand why people want assault rifles. If the people in the terrorist attacks in places like Orlando didn't have an assault rifle or something the deaths would probably be around 1/10th of what they actually are.

The reason we have assault rifles is for protection from the government. The reason we have the right to bear arms is because we fear the government becoming too powerful. We have a constitutional right to raise up a militia to overthrow the government if we feel it has become too powerful or corrupt. That is the primary reason reason we have assault rifles. Also self defense is another reason. Because now there are tons of guns in the black market so even if we ban assault rifles in the U.S. the bad guys will still have them.

Now when it comes to guns, ISIS has proven many times in Europe that they don’t need guns to kill tons of people. If they don’t have guns, they will find another way. You mentioned Orlando, what if that guy stole a gas tanker and rammed it through the building? Or a car bomb? Or a suicide vest? There are tons of other ways, guns are not need to kill tons of people.

Quite honestly, I don't even think the defend against the government point makes much sense. Even if we all had assault rifles, the government's military does too AND they have stuff like nukes and tanks that would absolutely reck a militia of sorts.

The thing is, the assault rifle ban has happened before. In 1994. I don't think there were many shootings during that time with assault rifles.

Guns are a lot easier to conceal though. A gas tanker isn't a 100% guarantee to get a ton of people killed. Neither is a car bomb, you may not be able to get as many people in the blast. Same with suicide vests, people might go running away.
