Posted July 15, 2017 Hello, I've collected about $15 on Amazon via the Bing Rewards program and I am looking to buy a Ethernet adapter for my 2016 MacBook Pro, I don't really need it but there are certain situations where it would be nice the have and all of these units have at least 3 USB 3.0 ports which will be helpful. So I have a few options, first up is the G-Ting: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LXZUN2O/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=AHHV6EIY3BRLE&psc=1 Pros: The G-Ting has the benefit of being featured in an LTT video, is compact, has a metal connector housing, and has solid reviews. Cons: Rather pricy, its gold, and its not from an established company Next up is the AUKEY: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019Q2QM4A/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A142BGUZC6UH73&psc=1 Pros: Cheap, its silver, and from a respectable company, Cons: Bulky, has a plastic housing for the connector, has spotty reviews And Finally is the ProCIV: https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Adapter-Gigabit-Macbook-Devices/dp/B01BSJKIV2/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1500146048&sr=8-15&keywords=usb+c+ethernet Pros: Its "gun metal grey", metal housing for connector, decent reviews Cons: confusing description and might not work, most expensive. So which one do you think I should get? Cast your vote in the poll and leave a comment as to why! Early reviews have it giving a spotty ethernet connection but later ones seem to not mention it. But it was hella cheap and had a USB port and passthrough charging so I went for it.
