so i done it i ordered 2x. Aquacomputer ULTITUBE D5 200 PRO reservoir with D5 NEXT pump and an Aquacomputer cuplex kryos NEXT with VISION 1156/1155/1151/1150, acrylic/nickel cpu block for $850.....but i hope i can move on and get this build done. i was not happy with what i had in there and ill use the 2 pumps in other builds.

update added strips to the bottom and found out the hot glue dose not stick to the silicone argb strips... so i cut them off. the soldering was a pain and looks really bad i should have just added connectors on the strips and magnet and called it a day... need a 9v battery to use my volt meteor to test them before plunging them in...

will look something like this. still need to remove the heatsinks from the ram i have the gun and gloves and priying things. i got a Gigabyte X299 Aorus Ultra Gaming mb coming for $350 not the gaming 7/9 but it will do for now let hope it works... i have the pcie m.2 wb but i needed a m2. sata not an nvme so that is coming. looks like ill have to use a pcie extension as dont thing the gpu will fit. if and when i get a 3080/90 with ative back plate wb i want the gpu mounted horizontal so ill have to find a mount for that.. argb pcie?  hey i tried to avoid it... looks like ill have to do some wiring with the alphcool connectors dont no if ill cut them off or try and buy adapters.

 

i was going to attach a heatkiller vrm block and use my aquacomputer cuplex kryos next vision cpu wb... but the mounts i got for it are for a different wb... so mad... so ill guess the mono block will do for now... and its rgb not argb but w/e...

so i download singalrgb and i dont no if that's how it works or not or i have to make an account i try to control the on board leds with it might look at it some more or try w10 witch i guess this will be the gaming pc so

 

but i have another idea is there a demo led port (mini micro jst ph 2.0 2pin case you were wondering and think its 12v) were they showed off the leds with out the mb being hooked up and found pics of it and looks like its data and ground and i guess the control has its own power. could not find anything on the demo control probably just youtubers got it... dont no what connector it is but might just have to guess...

 

so the 2pin demo led, 3pin argb, 4pin rgb, and 5pin 5v12v argb are all mini micro jst ph. 2.0 this has all of them.

 

the ram with the cpu i have is only usable on one side of the mb so ied have to get a better cpu to have it on both sides over site on my part. i was going to use a heat gun on the ram to get the heat sinks off but i found videos of using turpentine? so might look at that.

 

got the m.2ssd working thow i think i can use nvme of w10 so might have to get another one and block for 4? ...

 

i got the argb gpu mount in but its white and not black... so i guess ill use it for now that means re drill the pump holes and think ill have itr beside them i guess...

 

oh also got a third pedestal as it looked wired having both on top and should be easier to pass cables under the case. look at making custom usb cables.

well picked up some 4x Thermaltake TOUGHRAM RC DDR4 3600MHz ram didn't try to de heat sink the gskill ram maybe some other day.  ( future me 32gb ram with the gskill ram)

( future me got the ASUS ROG Thor psu for now)

so got 5x 560mm 45mm rads. need to buy more artic p140mm fans and will have halos on them for the argb. i wanted be quiet wings 4 140mm fans but there $70 each so... artic will do.

 

 

for attaching a rad well having fans on the bottom of the case im gonna buy double threaded rods m3 35mm screws will be way easier to add fans, halos, and the rad other wise it be a nightmare. you have to put the rad then case mount then fans then halos and then thread the screw thow all while lining up the threads to thread in to the rad... ya gl with that! all by your self...

98se pc need to get another sound card for that. i did get an alphacool eisblock xpx aurpra for it but say no ware about 775 thow its listed as working with 775... hate listings... might work or might not dont no... i got the black xpx cpu block but got my moeny back...

 

still need to add a desk behind my desk that my monitors will be mounted as my desk is not vary wide and the floor stand gets in the way of my feet and will be harder to clean under witch was the point in my sit stand desk. i will be clean one day... still dont no how all the pcs will hook up but i might need to buy a another kvm... i think. i did find a usb kvm witch switch the usb between pcs with a button.

 

off line pc wanted to add 140mm fans to the bottom of the Thermaltake Core X71 case and mount the storage drives there.

 

i did end up buying the asus thor 850 psu for about $250 seems ok? will the other corsair psus be ashamed?

so i got way to many other projects and a bit of fomo i guess with buying stuff as i only have so much moeny...

i spent some on consoles, controllers, everdrives, so that is why slow progress on this project anyway. well thats my excuse i guess. i no i i hyped it up and now people moved on and had kids by now.... anyway what have i done?

 

steam on longer works on my w7 so i kinda new something was happening a long time ago so thats why i wanted a w7pc and w10+ pc and now heard something about a subscription....

 

other things money on. got a titan x for xp build but didn't work... got my moeny back. i have a wb 980ti that i think works...

found out the turmal block had cross threaded... but got a barb on there not ideal but have to see if it leaks i guess... 

also looks light i need to get some g1/4 extensions as the gpu has to go in the top slot and the barbs are too big...(said no one)

 

well i cut and mounted the vrm water block to the broken mb with is different from the working one... but hope it fits...

delided my i9 7920X cpu with direct diy mount and think the cooler cant handle it so wc should be way better.

 

got a black gpu mount and moving the argb to it but got to cut a side off.

 

need to cut some more cabe holes on the pedestals as well as cut the plexy and mount the res and gpu mount to it.

 

i changed my mind once again (no one saw that coming...) and i got 4x 2x ram blocks for more fittings. going for the old school mb block, tubes all over look like my x58 build. i like it.
