macOS Settings - External Drive View Format

Just wondering if there's settings somewhere to have view options of external drives saved so I don't have to constantly change it every time.

Not sure exactly what you mean but you can view all your drives in Disk Utility and you can set Finder to show all of your drives in Finder. 

 

Maybe provide an image as an example of what you want to do and I can see if there is a way.

As I remember view options are system wide not folder by folder unless this has been changed in newer revisions of the OS.
