the blazing fast $50,480 cpu with......... 6 cores???

i found a little interesting thing on amazon. A $50,000 xeon cpu. If it was a modern cpu than fine, but this is a 6 core 3ghz cpu. kind of underwhelming considering youd have to donate a kindey and probably a heart to buy it. at least they give you free shipping eh?

Because the seller asks that much, doesn't mean they get it.

 

There is a trick on ebay which I don't know if it applies to Amazon or not. If a seller sells the same stock on multiple platforms, it can be possible to run out even though the system things they have some left. There is some penalty if they withdraw the listing, so instead they bump up the price so no one will buy it.

Pretty common to see products with ridiculous high price tags on sites like that, they do it so nobody buys it because it's out of stock even if it says in stock on the site.

Basically, they don't want anyone to buy it for some reason or another.

It is a good CPU, although they normally sell for only $70. It is prices high here intentionally because they are out of stock.
