ASUS Z97-WS or as he says... The Linus Edition

All right so this may sound crazy but, hey! how would I know unless I try right?! And it may just work

 

Ok so to make the story short, I was given a PC as a gift, but unfortunately the motherboard was dead. It has a Core i7 4790k and mobo is ASUS ROG Z87 Maximus VI Hero which died unfortunately. I do want to get a new motherboard for it, so looking around I stumble upon this video

I was very impressed with it, so naturally I started looking around for it but it's nowhere to be found or sold ridiculously expensive! So I am humbly asking our fierce leader Linus Sebastian, if he still has this board and if possible to give it to me so I can make use of it and revive my system. I would pay for shipping of course!

z97 has been discontinued for like 3 years now. 

 

z97-a and z97x fatal1ty are still good boards for their price point currently.

you are right.. he doesn't owe me anything. I do owe him a big thank you for all the content LTT produces. LTT deserves all the success they have.

 

The fact is that many times you maybe surprised at what you may get by just asking nicely...which is why I am humbly asking... "yes" or "no", no hard feelings, at least I tried.

Seriously though there's a chance the CPU might of gone pop with the board.

The Z97-A looks like a nice board! It also has a $30 MIR ... thanks for suggestion.  Will keep in mind
