The 1060 would only be a sidegrade so go for the 1070. But get an aftermarket cooler, so neither of those i guess.

asus turbo is a really good card.. if you have a very constrained airflow scenario.

and i really dislike they did away with the "hole trough the card" thing which was even more great for such scenarios.

EDIT: and with very constrained airflow.. i'm taking shoebox formfactor without vents.

its a bit of an upgrade from an RX470 to a GTX 1060, the 1060 is just under an RX480

anyway the gigabyte 1070 is the best of the bunch you listed

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

ASUS has way better thermal solution then Gigabyte.

Go for ASUS Strix GTX 1070. Or in my opinion I would wait to see how vega will perform aginst GTX 1070/1080/1080 Ti

Why do you need to upgrade in the first place, RX 470 - GTX 1060 sounds like you're getting carried away trying to milk unneeded fps

Hey I'd probably 1070 cause 1060 wouldn't be much if an upgrade. I was wondering if you would be selling the rx 470?if so how much for?
