Multi monitor multi GPU problems

tourenious

Hi fellas

I got triple monitors and two 380x in crossfire because I thought the experience would be worth the trouble, but I cannot make most games even work! Most games don't have support for custom ressolutions and I gave to force them with all kinds of tools and tricks (some hidden text files and hex editing exe files) but this does not make them work in fullscreen and multi GPU configs don't work in windowed mode. If someone has multi GPU multi monitor config pls give me some advise on how to play games different from the Witcher III and raceing games. Thx

Well, not all games support crossfire for a start, and multi monitor set ups, if you have a venn diagram, basically only mostly AAA games will fall in there. I have an R9 380X, I will be buying a 2nd one for HWBot 2 way scores, and I've used dual monitors with SLI, So I had to connect both displays to a single card, have you tried that also? I haven't checked recently if eyefinity crossfire needs to be plugged into the one card, but I don't think it does.

These are the costs of extreme solutions however.

Yours faithfully

Well I don't play any of those games but when I run into a game that doesn't support surround or eyefinity in your case, I use flawless widescreen or widescreen fixer.

That's pretty much my extent of it. All my bf games support it and all of the cods work with one of the said programs.

@Lord Nicoll

With crossfire only the main card outputs a display.

If I use those programs, will crossfire work?

With flawless widescreen crossfire works. I don't know about the other program, but I don't see why it wouldn't.
