Should I buy a PS3?

I've always kinda wanted one for the exclusives, I know that to access netflix and hulu etc is free (is it still free even though the PS4 is out?) while on the xbox you need a gold account which pissed me off, anyways should i get one? The PS4s out so there going cheap ish on ebay and black friday/cyber monday are coming up soo yea :3

 

edit: is the PS3 fat okay? is it really loud or would spending a bit more on slim be better?

 

edit2: how much HDD space do you need to install GTA V? and is the drive 2.5' or 3.5'? thanks c:

PS3 will be at the end of its lifetime in a few years. I just use mine for YouTube and Netflix and my brother actually games on it. (lol)

nah, had a 360, never buying one again also, i had a ps2, was my first console (dad had a ps1..i broke it by puttign bologna in it )

Try demos on games before buying them, also metal gear solid! Aww yeah you know you want them, if you like tactics rpg game then there is Disgaea. If you ever ownd an older playstation and miss some games dont forget to check out the playstation store they got some good old shit there.

If I really were in the market to pick up a PS3, I'd wait until after the Christmas holiday season. I would bet that the prices of them will be lower in a month or two when console gamers are trying to unload their old systems after getting the new generation for the holidays. Also retailers know this their last major push for the PS3 system.

 

To me, I am more pleased by my pc for games and a chromecast or roku for streaming media to the TV. I would want someone to really weigh the options and how much interest they have in a few titles that are exclusive to the PS3 to warrant going out and purchasing it.

Heavenly Sword and Shadow of the Colossus/Ico remakes and also Journey are all good too, although I though Resistance was garbage after 2 and Killzone is a Sony fanboy's bad Halo.

I would probably wait till christmas or see if black friday has a great deal on PS3 before buying it because they won't last long imo due to the new consoles so it is best to get a good deal on it.

i think gta v is 8gb with disk install and 18gb for game download
