Well. If I don't get B's or A's at the end of the academic year, I will not be too happy with myself. I am currently underachieving drastically because I spend too little time doing work (if any).

A-levels are difficult. Especially when you are doing triple science, DofE and two long-term AS subjects.

Compatible with Windows 95

If you're in middle school then who cares as long as you pass? And in highschool as long as you have good enough grades to go to college then what's the point? Even in college I couldn't care less about my grades in the bachelor, people just look at the master's.

Poland. 1-6 system. Percentage of material that must be correct, in order to get a grade:

1 You suck

2 You still suck (min. 35%)

3 Average (min. 50%)

4 Good (min. 70%)

5 Very Good (min. 90%)

6 You're basically a God (min. 97%)

I'm good with a 4, but 3 ain't bad either.

2 is minimal positive grade required to pass.

5 means you studied, like hard, and the teacher likes you / it wasn't hard material.

6 is RARE. REALLY, REALLY RARE.

Please keep in mind, that I'm in highschool, and I don't care much.

in germany the last 3 years of the highest tear public school is so tough, you have no idea. We use a 15 point system, 0 being worst and 15 best, and in the first batch of tests I got an average of about 6-7(if at the end of the year you have more than one course below 5 you have to repeat the year). I have never learned for school till now cause I never had to, but now I don't know that I need to I don't know how to learn...

A-F's here. I usually get B's in my easier classes because they are just so easy and boring to me that I don't bother trying for an A. Harder classes I actually try much harder for and strive to compete with my friend somewhat, so I usually end up with an A. This quarter I got an A in Pre-cal by basically competing with my friend, Drafting because AutoCAD is easy, AP Psych because I actually try and it's interesting. B in AP Chem because everything you learn in honors chem is a lie, APUSH because I hardly try in that class, and English because I decide which assignments I feel like doing to get a B, too lazy in that class to want an A.

The only bad grade is one below the grade that your university wants you to have to get in. I think I finished high school with a 92% average.

In Ontario high schools, they use a 1-4 system, 1-3 spanning 50-80% and 4 spanning 80-100% for some reason.

The IB program does 1-7, 1 being a fail, 2-5 spanning 50-90% and 6-7 spanning 90-100%.

Both systems are really dumb. Just go by percent.

I don't study. I gets "A"s and "B"s are unacceptable. Please note, my family is Asian. #justasianproblems

Same I get %100

My mom: "You could do better, ask your teacher for extra credit point" (ironically I had an 101% in history)

I just realized that most of the 12 year old on the forum are Asian. weird.

Jesus Christ...My family is Hispanic and I get sub-par grades work habits D- and mostly B+ Academically only one C+ but my parents don't mind I never study so there is that...

My school right now separates Academic from Work Habits to get you "ready for High School" when really my work habits grade just makes made grades look really bad.

Finally someone with a grade system i understand!

You americans and brits with GCSE and A's and B's and honors and whatever make my head hurt.

But on a morte serious note, in university I find good grades to be above 8 (1-10, 10 being highest.)

Try Australia NT, you've a total mark out 100 for final year. You've 5 classes, each with a total mark of 20.

I consider a 75% to be a good mark.

But I'm a high school drop out and I work in a school, so that shows you how little your employer cares about education vs experience

My parents are brown, I almost got disowned when I brought home that 46%....

So, anything under a 101% is unacceptable for my parents.

i sorta just breezed through highschool and mostly got C and B in everything but Maths, i have always been really good at maths and as a result i got As in that. The way i see it is as long as you pass what does it really matter(unless you are going for something really high like OP 1(Aus finaly score is a 25-1 scale from bad to good and 1s are really hard to get because of the way they are calculated)).
