Best Places for Watercooling Build

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but what are the best places to buy watercooling parts from? I've looked at EK's website literally a hundred times. I was wondering if there was anywhere else people would recommend? Thanks in advance!

If your looking for custom watercooling Performance PC's, Mod my Mods, and Microcenter are good options.

Well your options are quite varied.  You can go to amazon, ebay or NCIX of course but there are specialist web stores that are a better option.

Canada has Dazmode but in the US you can go to:

Performance PC's

Maybe microcenter?

There are more  but I'm totally blanking.  There was  one that seemed pretty good, frozenCPU or something like that

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

I plan to do softline tubing...I have heard that hardline is not too fun to work with when you are just starting out with custom loops.

I thought I had hear something about frozenCPU shutting down? If not I will have to look into it.

Other members have already mentioned Performance-PCs, so if you do happen to check us out, I'm always happy to help you pick out parts for your first loop!

Thanks everyone for mentioning PPCs! :D

Soft tubing is great for figuring/trying out loop routes, but it becomes cloudy within a few months when using transparent/clear tubing.

Also soft tubing should be replaced each 6 to 12 months.

Hardline require less maintenance once assembled with a proper drain port.

The only maintenance you have is: draining, flushing and refilling your loop with fresh coolant each 6 to 12 months.

Further you'd have more options of tubing types with hardline. Most common are PETG and acrylic, but also glass, copper and even carbon fiber can be used.

GPU: MSI GTX 1080 FE // PSU: Corsair RM750i // CASE: Thermaltake Core X71 // BOOT: Samsung Evo 960 500GB

STORAGE: WD PC SN530 512GB + Samsung Evo 860 500GB // COOLING: Full custom loop // DISPLAY: LG 34UC89G-B

I'll also dogpile onto this recommendation.

Performance-PCs was where I got all of my water-cooling equipment and then some.

Their site design might look a little dated but their selection is extraordinary and very much up to date.

I will also vouch for their customer service. Very quick and responsive.

If you need a place where you can get everything and have it arrive in a single box, you can't go wrong with these guys.

Funny, I recently asked this on a different forum yesterday as I needed parts.

I've found the following:

  • EKWB (as you've mentioned) - I've made a purchase and it's shipped. I've not yet received it though. Shipping is costly and only worth it if you are buying a lot of parts.
  • http://www.performance-pcs.com/ -- I placed an order with them yesterday, and they shipped this morning (very fast). Thus far, my experience with them has been good but I have yet to receive the parts and I've never needed customer service. I have high hopes though (they'll be my main supplier if my experience continues to be good).

Newegg and Amazon has some parts but their selection is very limited. Most parts on Amazon (which come from 3rd party sellers), were brass and I recall that I'm supposed to stay away from brass. Newegg has a better selection but it's still limited. And for what I was looking for yesterday, they didn't have it. (Ball valve and accessories to add it to the loop.)

I've not found anywhere else of note.

Thanks for the kind words and business PrimeSonic! We are currently working on updating our website, as it is quite dated haha :)

I have used your site for a few years now, and it helps that it got me the parts i need.  But the filtering is my biggest issue with the site.  I can't click multiple filters unless I have to wait a few seconds like the site fixes itself for the new filter result.  I can't wait to see what your team does to help improve the site.

CPU: 5900X   MOBO: MSI Tomahawk x570
MEM: G.Skill 32gb (2 x 16gb) 3600
GPU: Asus tuf oc 3080

May add the other bits of my system later on

I definitely agree with you there haha! The filters are great, but the fact that you can't just tick all the ones you want, then refresh the page, does get a bit frustrating.
