200$ dollar graphics cards

Hi Friends,

I am so confused to decide to choose which graphics card in 200$ mark should I choose.

The options for me are

RX 570 4GB

RX 580 4GB

GTX 1060 3GB

I don't mind about freesync/gsync as I don't have a monitor with that. And I am planning to play my games in 1080p. So I don't think so we need more VRAM.

Also I found these unusual price for RX 570 4GB and RX 580 4GB in Amazon which is like 350$ dollars and more. Is it happening only to me or this is usual. As I never purchased a graphics card before.

I've seen some rx 500 cards priced for 350 in the US for some reason. (They cost about that much retail in Norway :(). I think it has something to do with availability, though. Get a 580 if you can.

580 4GB is the best, but the extra money it would take to make it an 8GB 580 is likely to be worth it especially in the long run

The owner of "too many" computers, called

The Lord of all Toasters (1920X 1080ti 32GB)

The Toasted Controller (i5 4670, R9 380, 24GB)

The Semi Portable Toastie machine (i7 3612QM (was an i3) intel HD 4000 16GB)'

Bread and Butter Pudding (i7 7700HQ, 1050ti, 16GB)

Pinoutbutter Sandwhich (raspberry pi 3 B)

The Portable Slice of Bread (N270, HAHAHA, 2GB)

Muffinator (C2D E6600, Geforce 8400, 6GB, 8X2TB HDD)

Toastbuster (WIP, should be cool)

loaf and let dough (A printer that doesn't print black ink)

The Cheese Toastie (C2D (of some sort), GTX 760, 3GB, win XP gaming machine)

The Toaster (C2D, intel HD, 4GB, 2X1TB NAS)

Matter of Loaf and death (some old shitty AMD laptop)

windybread (4X E5470, intel HD, 32GB ECC) (use coming soon, maybe)

And more, several more

It's mostly 8GB 580s with stock issues.

I'd go with the 4GB 580. Check r/BuildAPcSales also

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I would go for the RX 570, because it isn't weaker than the RX 580

Amazon's pricing can be really weird when stock is low. I have seen things like physics books that go for $15-$20 selling for $6000 on amazon when they only have one or two in stock. Wait a couple of weeks for the prices to stabilize and then grab an RX 580 4GB for around $200.

I would go for the rx 570 personaly because if you are looking for solid 60fps at 1080p with decent settings this is a great bang for the buck
