I get 16 ping, 150 Down and 80 UP. I have a sort of local internet provider called cox, we pay $100 a month. Too lazy to go to speedtest

Don't hold your breath on TWC and speed increases, in Charlotte NC here and they have been promising them here all summer to try to get ahead of the Google Fiber roll out in the area. I can't wait to kick the scumbags to the curb.

I pay $59 a month with iinet but im mainly with them because anything i download from Steam/Netflix is un-metered so i barely scratch my 100 gig limit.

I can tell you that it is not nearly as bad as the US news depicts it, I live in San Diego and I can easily cross to Tijuana walking then take a cab or uber to downtown party all night and take a cab back to the border. A lot of friends that don't even speak spanish do it as well. I admit there was a time when it was really bad because of different cartels fighting to cross their drugs through this border, not anymore.
