Gaming CPU needed

Hi Guys, Which is better for gaming. I7 7700k or Ryzen 5 1600x or Ryzen 7 1700?

If solely for gaming, I7 is better. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

If just gaming... the i7 gets more FPS... if you plan on doing anything else the ryzen 7 has more raw power....

I replied this kind of questions a lot!

Many People give different suggestions!

But in my suggestion, I would like to suggest that you go with an Intel Core i7 Processor!

Even AMD Ryzen is better but it is a bit expensive CPU in the Tech Market!

Ryzen 5 1600 costs around $220

i7 7700k costs around $320 and R7 1700 is at $310

 

Which game do you play? What is the GPU and at what resolution? Are you willing to pay almost $100 for an i7? too?

You may get higher averages but you'll have way less stuttering on the 1600/1700. Platform costs are lower since you can OC with a B350 board.

I7 7700k for just pure gaming. If you are doing anything else such as content creation, go for Ryzen.
