Hello all,

Im badly in need of a quality power supply for my build this summer, with 3 conditions applying to my choice:

1: I would like it to be from a supplyer with good customer service and good quality products

2:under 75 euros

3:be available from one of the following : prodimex.ch    , alza.sk     , amazon.fr

I know this is demanding, but you guys are great :)

Thanks a lot,

-Lukas

Was typing a reply when you added you needed a 600w PSU, now I would recommend something like a Corsair, I checked out a few of the links and found a suitable 600w PSU,

https://www.amazon.fr/Corsair-CP-9020048-EU-Builder-Bronze-Alimentation/dp/B009D79Z9I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493819759&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+600w

Now it's slightly above budget but as a previous owner of one, I can pretty much guarantee the quality and power efficiency. It will be enough to power your Ryzen and GTX 1060. Its not semi/fully modular so if that is something you are looking for to help with cable management unfortunately I doubt there is much in your price range in that area, but I hope this helps.

My Main Build:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3.6Ghz,

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengence LPX 2666MHz,

GPU: SAPPHIRE AMD HD7770 GHz Edition 1GB GDDR5,

SSD: SanDisk SSD Plus 240GB (Linux boot),

HDD: WD 1TB Green (Windows 10 Home Premium), 500Gb HDD (random games), 4TB Seagate Barracuda (ISO's and hoarding),

PSU: 750W Corsair Semi-Modular Bronze efficiency,

Case: Aero 500 white side panel,

Spoiler

Raspberry Pi: First version model B 512Mb RAM, 700MH, pihole for the network

1
Spoiler

Laptop: Intel Pentium 3825U @ 1.90GHz, 4GB ram, 1TB HDD, Ubuntu server running samba

Not necessarily, the G1 units aren't good.

They make some bad bronze, white, and 80+ units. If I had choose one manufacturer that made pretty much all good PSUs it'd be Seasonic.

A quality 450w will be plenty to power that system.

If you want to get a higher wattage unit, I would recommend the Corsair Vengeance 550M.

https://www.prodimex.ch/pInfos.aspx?CODE=H06E15&D=Alimentation++550W+CORSAIR+Vengeance+Serie+550M+80++Bronze++modular++CP+9020111+DE+

It's slightly over your budget, but it's a very good modern PSU. It's better than the mentioned XFX XT 600 and Seasonic M12II-B 620w EVO units.

The quality isn't as good as many other PSUs. I believe @STRMfrmXMN once said, "The G1 PSUs are designed to last for 10 years, but not for your components to last for 10 years."

While the FSP build G1 isn't a bad PSU, it isn't a good one either. It's quite a mediocre power supply in everything other than it high efficiency and it being fully modular. This is because it's design would yield poor voltage regulation, ripple suppression, and response to transient loads. It's also can be on the loud side at mid to high loads as the fan can ramp up over 2000RPMs.

If you already have it, it's not bad that you should feel the need to replace it; however, if anyone is in the market for a new PSU, I wouldn't go with the G1 as they are usually better options they can get.

Not true... Some PSUs are less likely to do that, some are more. The G1 is overpriced since better quality PSUs (GQ, B2, S12ii/M12ii, etc.) are cheaper if not the same price. The G1 is overpriced for the quality it brings to the table.
