My 110 dollar sleeper PC build

Sleeper PC 2016

I should of posted this last week when I built this thing.

Specs:

Case: Dell Dimension 3000

CPU: AMD FX-6300 at stock

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB 3

GPU: Gigabyte 750ti 2 GB

Storage: 1 320 GB WD Blue (SATA) and 1 250 GB WD Cavier PATA drive from 2005 (still working like a champ)

runs gta 5 at 75 FPS at 1080p high

The system is ready to go, there is just one more bug I need to deal with (it's almost at the point of overheating with the side panel on while gaming)

That thing doesn't have any airflow paths though, better to run the side panel off and call it a day

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

There's one space for a fan but where does the air come in? Unless there are holes on the side panel. The front has no openings

Btw off topic did you build this new or used?

For that price it's gotta be used or at least a refurb

No side panel vent. The case fan does keep idle temps down into the 30s and web browsing around 40-50

Alrighty. I think I will try to find another fan header on the board and then mount a 120mm fan on the side panel. (I only have 120s available). Hope it works!
