MALWARE ??

Hello, so I have recently commited to buying paid version of antivirus system and I was using windows defender but it was useless so I switch to malwarebytes but my trial has expired. I dont know if to pay for their premium version which is good price or if there is any better antivirus software out there. Please help me because I have dealt with virus's before and I don't want them to  happen again. Is malware-bytes a reputable company or is there anything better for around the same price?

Malwarebytes is pretty good, unsure whether you need the premium edition though.

 

I got it when it was a lifetime license.

Malwarebytes is practically the best anti-malware application out there (At least from everything I've read). Pair it with a good antivirus and you should be fine.

so what is anti malware and what is antivirus. I though malwarebytes just does everythign??????

You can use Kaspersky's Rescue Disk if you need to wipe something out while your primary OS hasn't been loaded.

As far as I know, Malwarebytes fights malware, which is any application you accidentally install that is harmful to you computer (You can install some malware without ever knowing you did), and an Antivirus goes against viruses, which are programs someone tries to inject into your computer and take control of it (Many antivirus have antimalware as well, but are better when paired with Malwarebytes). Basically, Malwarebytes won't catch all the viruses, but will get the malware, and the Antivirus won't get all the malware, but will get the viruses. Thus Malwarebytes+Antivirus.

Malwarebytes is anti malware program. It's not antivirus program so you have to get an antivirus program like Avira and Bitdefender to pair with it.

Sophos Home (You need to make a free account), Bitdefender, etc. Just look up one with good reviews, and you should be fine.

Malwarebytes+Sophos Home, IMO.

He's saying to steer clear of suspicious websites, banner ads, and clickbait. If you're careful and don't go clicking in everything, don't open attachments from people you don't know, etc, etc, that you'll be much safer.

Should be. Just keep Malwarebytes installed in case you're antivirus can't take care of some malware or something. Personal Tip: Look into both the paid versions of Bitdefender and Sophos. They are both goo, and you should be able to get a free trial. I tried the enterprise versions of both, and Sophos' Web interface is simpler and much more intuitive.

yeah, would it be better to buy Bitdefender total security 2017 because it incorporates everything? or just stay with cheaper malwarebytes for my whole computer??

but I dont want a million antivirus stuff, I just want one so should I buy Bitdefender total securiuty or just stay with malwarebytes premium ver4sion?
