S340 vs P400

Which is an overall better case, the normal S340 or the normal P400?

It does, but that said I loved mine ! ! Best way around it, day I got mine went to a car shop and had them put a window Tint on it, Did two things, When the PC was off it almost looked like the side panel was solid, and two that stuff is way better scratch resistant. 

 

I haven't had the P400 but the S340 is an amazing case, I wish i never sold mine I'd have it over my 400C any day.

I like the P400 better. It feels like the same case but better, has cable grommets and a bit of lighting. Also support for a 240mm rad up top which the S340 lacks. A lot to like on it.

P400! Better looks IMO, better rad/fan support, and RGB downlight/power button. Also the thick aluminum panels are beautiful! Can you pay an extra $10 for the P400S (quieter, and fan grille covers for the top)?

If you scratch it then obviously yeah, any side panel window can get scratched.

You just need to take care of it and clean it with a microfibre cloth that doesn't have any dirt on it.

It's better to mount AIOs on the front, which the S340 can do up to 280mm.

Wait, I don't remember the P400 supporting top radiators, did you just stuff a radiator there regardless of what the official specs say?

This is basically down to Personal Preference.I like the S340 because of how clean and minimalistic and blends in  whereas the P400 has a more angular look and adds a bit of punch to you room

Basically what these all said. Either is a good choice and they're relatively similar feature-wise, as long as there's nothing specific you need offered by only one of them just buy whichever you think looks nicer or offers a better value.

Are you comparing the 'regular' S340, and the 'regular' P400?

I'd personally say go with the P400 instead.

 

I have a S340 Tempered Glass.

Some of the fine improvements over the regular S340 are nice, but there are still some quirks on the case designed, and the...cheaper materials used.

I have the P400s and the P400 tempered glass. Live this case. They are built well, lots of cable management slots, and good Customer service. Plus lots of dust filters. 

 

The s340 is also a very solid case. It does have lots of respect from other builders/owners for the exact same reasons as the p400. 

 

So in final opinion: it comes down to the style you prefer. Both are good choices.
