So it typically you have to rename the file once downloaded for the motherboard bios. For my Asus ROG Crosshair I had to rename the file to CH6.CAP. See what you have to rename it, then in the bios find the usb drive and select the file.

ok ill look

also ryzen says im running at 2ghz but msi says 3.6. those numbers are all so different.

Try setting your power profile to 'High Performance' in Windows.  When I have mine set to 'Balanced', it down clocks to 2.2GHz and will fluctuate up as needed.

Make sure the flash drive is formatted as FAT32, not NTFS.

that might be the issue

**EDIT** i tried to format the passport drive i had the file on but only options to format in is exfat, ntfs,REFS

I believe ExFAT should work.

exfat did not work. I did however have a thumb drive that i couldnt get formatted. did some google searching and found a program called EaseUS and i was able to format the drive and get it back and i then formatted in fat32 and was able to install the new bios. I am getting really low frames and long boot times though. I feel like i shouldnt be. Also the bios says that my clock speed is 3.6 but Ryzen Master says 2.2 ghz? i dunno which one to believe.

still getting crappy FPS...

Might have to chalk it up to new platform, new tech, at least for now.

I'm getting low FPS. I did update the bios. I did some googling and saw someone said they turned on A-XMP on in their BIOS and it configured their memory perfect. I did that and then the computer started to turn off and turn on and did that about 10 times before i got a message saying restoring bios to original values. in there it says my memory is at 1866 but i have trident z 3000 mhz in there. i took out two sticks so right now its just two 16 gb sticks 3000mhz so i think it should be running better.. any suggestions on what i should do?

this time i tried over clocking the memory in the bios and its doing the same turn on turn off thing.

i OC'd it to 2400mhz it started into windows. i left a-xmp off. maybe the ram im using isnt good for the board? should i buy new ram? i have Trident Z currently. running AMD Ryzen 7 1800x X370 Gaming board titanium

also interesting since i oc'd my memory i notice in ryzen master my cores are going up and down now and not stuck at 2.2ghz

**EDIT** sorry about all the messages guys but i just realized something it stays at 2.2 ghz unless i turn on the MSI command center and ryzen master once i turn on control center and ryzen master the clock speeds and whatnot start to match command center.
