This is really my best option right now in terms of cost, and I don't really care about the cooler since I will be putting a full cover block on it. I just need to know if it's a reference PCB or not, before I go and buy the FC1080 from EK.

I'm 99% positive. Usually custom boards have an additional six pin connector to deliver more power.

Looks like it, since it only has one 8 pin. Plus companies don't usually put blower coolers on non-reference PCBs since it doesn't make sense :P

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Most if not all the blowers are reference PCBs.

Waterblock is the best thing for them.

Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. I know lol, that's why I'm getting one, solely to put a block on it xD

I'll go ahead and order it, I see no reason why Gigabyte would spend any R&D on adding stuff to that PCB only to sell it it for the lowest price.

*Fixed it. Pic of my reference 1080 with a block. Doesn't get used much.
