G4620 / G4560 users please, I have a q for you

Yes I know the g4560 is the best bang for your buck. But I just want the g4620 for the extra mhz lol.

Anyway. I multitask, but not heavily.

For example: 10-20 tabs in Chrome while playing Path of Exile and then like to alt-tab a lot and watch a YouTube video or whatnot. All 1080p ofc.

So this might sound like a dumb question but would these Pentiums be fine for that type of usage? Or would an i5 / R5 be more appropriate?

Complete waste of money, your paying for the better igpu, no the mhz, and thats not worth the money at all

It will work fine.

Quit using chrome and go with Firefox and it is doable, or get a ryzen 3

the main difference on the 4620 is an iGPU boost, if you can just get the 4560

g4560 = perfect for budget builds, it will work fine for web-surfing and on non-cpu bound games.

i5 = for heavier multi-tasking and heavy gaming

and it depends more on how many ram and if you have a ssd or hdd

Remember to quote me (or someone else), otherwise we won't going to recieve your answers...

I own a G4560 and 16GB of RAM, works nice, though I haven't tried it with heavy tasks or anything like that, just TF2 and 3-10 Chrome tabs. I'm using Linux, by the way.

Well shit. Load up 10 or so Chrome tabs for me if you can and alt-tab from TF2 and go to YouTube and watch a video tell me if you get any stutter or whatnot lol.

I'm sure it'll prob work fine but im just so curious hahaha

@MakeAMDGreatAgain What websites? How many YouTube tabs? Facebook?

Just pull up ten articles on Huff Post. Those many ads will clog any system.

Unless you use adblocker and tampermonkey scripts to avoid adblockers detections :P

@MakeAMDGreatAgain I've been swapping tabs everytime I died in the game and I didn't noticed any stuttering or minimum FPS, TF2 settings are on recommended. So, I think you're good.
P.S: 1 Facebook, 1 LTT, 3 YouTube and 5 Huff. 1 YouTube was on 720p and the other 2 on 1080p.
