Did I take the whole 'Tower' thing too literally?

FlightRisk

So I recently rearranged my setup and I started to wonder if I took the whole PC 'Tower' thing a bit too literally.

I just found it funny and figured this forum might also find it funny

You have a low-frequency vibration woofer on a PC. Yikes!!! Shouldn't woofers be placed low for better sound?

Not arguing :) Just be careful, low-frequency thumps like that and spinning HDD platters dont mix very well.

Probably, I have heard that before. However anything with substantial bass I will be playing through my headphones and it used to be directly on the desk and I personally haven't noticed a difference. Getting the Tweeters/Monitors/whatever they are called in the right placement has been a bigger sound issue for me

I wonder anyone has actually tested this with high power bass speakers. To the YouTube rabbit hole I go.

Bildresultat för i see you are a man of culture as well

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
