gtx 1050 ti sc bottlenecked?

Yehomilk

As the title says, i'm wondering if my processor is going to bottleneck this here gtx 1050 ti. I really wanna know since I could be saving roughly $30 while still maintaining the same performance with the regular gtx 1050. The processor i've got right now is an intel core i5-4570, and as far as I know, that's about 4 years old. I don't really know much about processors as I do graphics, so could one of you help me out here?

(first post btw :D)

not at all, you could probably get away with a rx470/1060, for more performance for the price

That i5 can be easily be paired with much more powerful graphics cards and still get the most out of the cards in alot of situations. I wouldn't worry about your cpu bottlenecking the gtx 1050ti at all. You might be better off with getting a rx 470 for slightly more as it gives quite the performance boost over the gtx 1050ti and is quite similar in price.

If you have amazon prime you can get the Asus strix oc rx 470 for $149.99 which would be alot better and only cost 10 bucks more. That's if you have amazon prime though.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JS2UFDM?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER it even says you can try a free 30 day trial of amazon prime so i think you could possibly start a 30 day trial and buy the rx 470 for 149.99 and just not end your membership after the trial. you would get free shipping too xD

No you will be ok. The GTX 1060 would be best fit, But I had a 1050Ti in mine and it worked out great.

Won't even slow down a RX480. And btw, you can get a RX470 for around the same price point, which is much much faster.

Nah, you'll be fine. my i5-4460 with an RX 470 can handle it. even the new Pentium G4560 shouldn't really bottleneck it

Does the RX470 need any external power? I'm looking to get the GTX 1050 ti since my power supply doesn't have any power connectors graphics cards would need ;(

I also tried looking on amazon, but the cheapest one I found was at $190, and it was an RX480.

Also, thanks for all the feedback everyone :D

You can't buy the GTX 1060 Founders Edition, those are review samples only.

Get a rx480.
