Amazon shipping

Has any one ever received something from amazon tht assent in a amazon box I just got my rx 480 and wasn't  even in a amazon box I just think it's kinda crazy they just gonna leave a peice of 230$ outside my door so every can see what I got and think about stealing it also do they think I want a sticker over my box I would've liked to keep everything in perfect shape so when I selll it I can call it like new  it probaly just me tht would get mad about something like this lol

It isn't that big of a deal bud...Plus.. if you don't want shit stolen request for a signature to be required to be dropped off

maybe you bought a product thats on amazon but provided by another seller, also you can always contact them and tell your issue

Amazon gets really cheap with their shipping, sometimes.  I've seen the same thing.

I've had this happen a few times, when you get free same day shipping sometimes they don't box it up and just put a label on the item and drop it off in a van. I'm sure boxing it up would add time to the delivery so I'm happy with getting my items in 4-5 hours if it means not having a brown box and packing materials.

I honestly don't get why American shipping companies leaving stuff outside the door and people accept it. I am not an American but that seems extremely dumb to me.

Contact Amazon if you're unhappy. They're one of the best companies by far when it comes to customer service related issues. They'll likely give you some money back if you're unhappy with the condition of the box or offer to exchange it for a new one.

 

Did you by it from Amazon directly,  or a third party seller?

Not everything listed on their site is actually sent from Amazon.

Yeah, it's odd but very common practice.

I had an issue with NewEgg, where I was going to order a phone for $700 and I asked what would happen if someone stole it off my porch, as I've seen them leave my other packages in plain sight. They said it would be up to me to deal with their insurance company. Excuse me? Up to me, for your fuck up? I've never done business with NewEgg again.
